The main shareholder and the General Manager is Mr. Mihaila Stefan. He is a mechanical engineer with an activity of over 45 years out of which 25 years in the research and design field and 20 years in the field of plant production and industrial building sites. He owns over 25 invention licenses with an over 50% applicability, some of them are being used at the very moment. Between 1975 and 1999, the fields where he categorically distinguished were lifting equipment and installations, heavy and special assemblies in the great industrial building sites. The works performed are most of them in Romania and part abroad. He acts as a direct leader of the construction-mounting process.
S.C. RECON-EX S.R.L. was established in 1991 and is registered in the Trade Directory under No. J40/4343/1991, fiscal code R343840, Social Premises: 510 Mihai Bravu Road, 3th district, Bucharest, telephone/fax No: 021-326.61.46.

The activity scope is represented by buildings - assemblying and industrial production for: metallic manufacturings; tools, devices and lifting equipment; special works and industrial installations in the industry of oil, petrochemistry; hydrotechnic installations; highways; water chateau (tanks); towers for meteorological radar installations; manufacturing metallic casings for concrete beams and bridge pier, manufacturing metallic scaffolding dismountable for bearing beton beams; manufacturing timber drier; drying any kind of timber, etc.

Mr. Mihaila Stefan is the main shareholder (he owns over 90% shares) of the company that today acts as a holding along with two more specilized companies, namely:

- S.C. LIFTCON S.R.L. established in 1993, specialized in lifting and installation works (great tonnage assemblies with raisings and movements in complex plane); putting into execution and installing PVC & Al joinery.

- S.C. TRANSACUT S.A. specialized in transport and mechanization works, having an own base of construction equipment with all maintenance and reparation additions for both its own scope and third parts.

S.C. RECON-EX S.R.L . has been developed surely and step by step along with S.C. LIFTCON S.R.L. and S.C. TRANSACUT S.A. together achieving the following turnovers:

In 2005, the total employees number was 90. They carry out their activity within consulting department, production facilities, construction sites and administrative offices. Their activities are assisted by recent generation computation tehnics and communications, being a staff responsabil and qualified for present activities and for a certain development in the future.

Now, we have areas and deposits (workshops and departments suitably equipped) of over 1 hectare and concreted surfaces of over 1.5 hectare for the range of prefabricated parts and preassemblying. All those surfaces totally exceed 3 hectares. The main space is situated in one place and exceeds 2.8 hectares having direct railway and highway access to the main road Bucharest - Giurgiu and to the road which goes round the city of Bucharest.

Quality and performance

We achieve special construction works using modern methods, some of them being used in the world for the first time. We look for solutions which permanently aim to shorten the completion time, to increase the quality, efficiency and at the same time to diminish the costs by getting increased operating parameters.

The technologies used by S.C. RECON-EX S.R.L. are based on the inventions worked out by our experts as a result of the researches performed in the special industrial constructions field.

The authorizations, quality certificates and licenses according to documents introduce ourselves as experts having competence and quality warranties, including patents:

- ISCIR Authorization No. 1337 issued on July 5, 1991 for design, completion, assembly and reparation of the goods and people lifting installation;

- Quality certificate No. 288/2003 - Regia Autonoma PETROM S.A.;

At the present the three companies has a number of 90 employees, which increases every year. For building and assemblying company department the capacity of employing manpower can increase three times in comparison with the market demand.
